Cancellation Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to all service engagements with Genisis Media Tech., including monthly retainer packages (Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO, etc.) and fixed-scope project work (web development, mobile app development, branding). All services are digital in nature; no physical goods are involved.

2. Cancellation — Monthly Retainers

Clients on monthly retainer plans may cancel at any time by providing a minimum of 30 (thirty) calendar days' written notice to Genisis Media Tech. via email at hello@genisismediatech.store.

The cancellation timeline works as follows:

Notice Given	Final Billing Month
Notice given on or before the 1st of a month	Services continue through the current month; final payment is the current month's invoice
Notice given after the 1st of a month	Services continue through the current month plus the next full month (30-day notice period)

During the notice period, all agreed services will continue to be delivered at full capacity. No pro-rata refunds are offered for unused days within a billing month unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The minimum engagement period for all retainer plans is 3 (three) months. Cancellation requests within the minimum term will still be subject to the 30-day notice period, and the remaining months' fees (up to the 3-month minimum) may be charged.

3. Cancellation — Project-Based Work

For fixed-scope projects (web development, mobile app, branding, etc.), cancellation terms are governed by the signed Statement of Work (SOW) or project agreement. In the absence of a specific clause:

• Before kickoff (no work commenced): 100% refund of any amounts paid, minus payment gateway fees, if cancellation is within 7 days of payment.
• After kickoff but before 25% completion: The deposit (typically 50%) is non-refundable; no additional charges apply.
• After 25% project completion: Fees are charged proportionally for work completed. Any outstanding balance for completed milestones remains due.
• After 75% project completion: Full project fees are due. Partial delivery may be provided up to the cancellation point.

4. Cancellation by Genisis Media Tech.

We reserve the right to cancel or suspend services with immediate effect, without refund obligation, in the following circumstances:

• Non-payment of invoices beyond 14 days of the due date
• Violation of platform policies (Meta, Google, etc.) by the client
• Provision of false or misleading information by the client
• Requests to produce illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content or campaigns
• Material breach of the Terms & Conditions or engagement agreement

Where we cancel for reasons other than the above, we will provide 30 days' notice and refund any pre-paid fees on a pro-rata basis for the unused portion of the notice period.

5. Effect of Cancellation

Upon cancellation of services:

• All campaign access, ad account permissions, and project files will be transferred or returned to the client within 7 business days of the final service date.
• All client-owned assets (ad accounts, data, brand files) will remain the property of the client.
• Work product created and fully paid for will be delivered to the client.
• Any outstanding invoices remain payable regardless of cancellation.

6. How to Cancel

We will acknowledge your cancellation request within 2 business days and confirm the final service date and any financial obligations outstanding.

7. Refunds on Cancellation

For refund eligibility upon cancellation, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy. Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.
